Can not Find Wireless Network Adapter after re-install of XP

I have recently had ot reinstall XP on my Latitude D600, and I can not find the Wireless Adapter, nevermind get it to work.  The only Conection listed under properties in my Network Neb. is the LAN conection that works fine.  Searching for new hardware does not work, nor installing different drivers.  I have no idea what wireless card I have...Please help.

Drew,

Welcome to the Forum,

BIOS Setup (F2 on first boot screen) should ID your card.

Click HERE for Latitude D600 / Microsoft Windows XP / English
Choose a Device for Download

First do All the "chipsets" then Communications and Notebook System Software
and finally choose the proper Driver/s for your hardware under Network Drivers.

Other Drivers you should also install include Video and Input Device Drivers.

ReBoot between each install.

Hmmm.  Still having problems.  When I use F2, the only items listed are a Conexant D480 MDC, and a MiniPCI.  There are not other options....neither of these help me in determining how to get the right driver for my wireless card....

The Conexant D480 MDC is most likely your modem and the miniPCI is most likely your wireless card. If you did not install the card then there is some chance that looking up your Dell Service tag will get you the answer.
