Conexant HDA D110 MDC V.92 Modem - used for Voice calls? (Windows Dialer)
I have recently bought a great new Dell Latitiude D520 with
Conexant HDA D110 MDC V.92 Modem (delivered 3 days after I ordered it - great service Dell!)
What I cannot seem to get right it use the windows XP Dailer software to work with the Modem. I m running Windows XP, got "Sigmatel Audio" which seems to want to drive the microphone & a Conexant HDA D110 MDC v.92 modem built in.
Basically I am pluged in with a headset, dial a number using Dailer.exe - the number rings, person answers & I can hear them, but they cannot hear me.
Checked all the settings possible, tested hardware, the headset works fine with the likes of Skype, but not with Windows XP, Dialer & Dell.
It worked fine on a 6 year-old Toshiba laptop running on Windows XP.
Does anybody have an idea on how I can get this fixed?.
