D600 remove Intel 2100 and insert Broadcom/Linksys 802.11 b/g

D600 remove Intel 2100 and insert Broadcom/Linksys 802.11 b/g miniPCI card.

Would that work? Any problems with drivers?

Yes it will work but you will need to load the drivers for the new card. I suggest you uninstall the Intel card from device manager before you physically remove the card from the notebooks MiniPCI slot. This will remove all the Intel software and drivers for the card.
