Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Stays On Acquiring IP Address

Hi,

I have a user with a Dell Vostro 1510 with the Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card.  It was working well with a wireless connection but in the last week or so the wireless has stopped working.  During the wireless connection, it gets stuck at Acquiring IP Address and stays in that state for several minutes before finally giving up.  I'm not aware of any software updates that occurred prior to when the wireless stopped working but it is possible that Windows updates were installed.

I read through this posting and wasn't sure if my issue was reflected in it:

Following advice I saw elsewhere, I have uninstalled the "Dell Network Assistant" program via Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and removed a line item called "Auto Internet Protocol" from the Wireless Network Connection Properties.  After rebooting, I was still unable to connect wirelessly.

Any suggestions?
