Dell latitude e4200 wireless network freeze

Hello support team,

The laptop is running under windows 7. Always been great.

Now, the wireless icon is frozen. Everything  works fine except the wireless  capabilities. When i try loading network and sharing,  the window also freezes. Yet, i can avcess all other windows functions.

Ii tried rolling back aa version under sage mode, but it didn't  change anything. The problem seem to have happened  spontaneously as it disnt occur after an install or update.

Network adapters ive got intel wiki link 5300 AGN. and intel 82567LM gigabit network  connection.

Thanks and have a gorgeous  day.

Hi,

Have you tried to remove and then reinstall the drivers for that card?  If you go into Device Manager does it show any "bangs" or warning marks next to the wireless card listing?  Drivers can be downloaded from the E4200 support pages.

You may also want to try to delete your wireless profiles and then allow (hopefully) Windows to recreate them.

Try those two steps and see if it helps.  If not, come back and let us know and I'll see what else I can think of that we can try to resolve the problem.
