Dual-band card for XPS 15 (L502X)?

I'm currently using an Intel Ultimate-n 6300AGN Half Pci-e Card in my Dell XPS 15 (L502X) laptop. I'd like to use a dual-band card. Which one would I use? Would an Intel AC-7260 work in the laptop? Intel 3160? Thanks.

Hi gogreen1,

Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately the AC-7260 is not supported by Dell, however I did read a post where someone got it to work using the Intel drivers, but it is not recommended. http://dell.to/2vKUfvD

Hi. My L502x XPS15 came with an Intel N1000 wifi chip - no bluetooth. I have decided to upgrade to a bluetooth card and through research found that my best option were a N1030, 6230 or maybe a 7260. I have seen some posts that a N-6230 will do well so I ordered one after checking that it wasn't the Russian version. Here's a link that helped me decide communities.intel.com/.../30323.
