HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic Help
I have been having issues with my internet connection for almost 2 weeks. No matter what web sites I try to go to, I get these errors. Have searched
the internet and can find no clear solution. I have turned off my firewalls. I am using a Dell XPS 210 service pack 3 with windows XP. I have a linksys
router and have run diagnostics on it. It is fine. I connect through Internet Explorer 7. All of my microsoft updates are in. I run PC Tools spyware and
anti-virus. It says my computer is clean. I have reset my internet connection. I have used system restore, which I can no longer use because it says it
can't restore to that date, nomatter what date and now it will only let me pick a date back to the 13th of January. I also run RegCure because the information
that I have managed to find on this problem said that I probably have registry errors. Any help that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid I am
at my wits end. And also, no other computers hooked up to this router are having this problem. I have tried new internet/ethernet cables, tried plugging this
one directly to the modem, and have tried all other ports on my router. Still have the same problems. This is not a wireless connection.
PLEASE HELP!! Thank you.
