How do I can enable my Bluetooth device? (Dell Latitude D600)
Hello,
I want to know which is the problem with my Bluetooth device, I right click in the Bluetooth icon next to the clock (right bottom part of the screen), and I choose the option "Enable Bluetooth Radio", and it appears a window that saids "Bluetooth radio es turned off. Press Fn+F2 to turn it on", but the radio is on beacause I am using a Wireless Network Connection. In the Bluetooth advanced configuration, at the Hardware section, Devices: Bluetooth device is not conected, Devices status: Device not found. The device may not be installed correctly, it may be powered off, it may be disabled or it not may be operational. Check the Windows Device Manager for help troubleshooting the problem. I go to Windows Device Manager but it doesn't appear any Bluetooth device.
When the computer is turn on and the Dell logo appears a press F2 and in the part where the wireless properties are located, the option that saids Onboard Bluetooth: Not installed.
I want to know which is exactly the problem and find a solution.:smileysad:

Hello DELL laps community !!!
Since yesterday I've a Latitude D600 with all possible extensions, bluetooth is on board...YEAH!
But, at the evening the BT blue led started to blinking and then BT failed, even in bios I've got "Not Installed" ?!! Godd...mned ! So I investigated a bit and found this thread:
Need to replace motherboar?! Or BT-device ?!! No - thanks...Guys, don't get f...cked !!! Well, am I from Russia, or not ;-D ->>> I've caught the screwdriver and found our problem with a D600, 600m etc. - it's the godd...mned motherboard connector designed as sh...t !!! It could happen to everyone and every time again, cause of the lap surface architecture ! So I've soldered the BT connector on the MB in the right way and it works ;-P Full success and I could sleep again ;-D Anyway, cheap plastic and other components, tooo pity for a DELL :-(

Great news that you were able to repair that too common problem, best news I can give you on that
problem with a D600, 600m is that all the other Dell Portables use a cable connection that does
not have that problem, with their Bluetooth.
It is not a problem for me at all to read your eloquently abbreviated colorful language, but
when a modorator sees it, he must delet your whole post, depriving the rest of us your very
usefull information.
