How do I make "use windows to configure my wireless network settings" automatic?
In trying to hook up an old router of my brother's awhile back, I unchecked the box that says "use windows to configure my wireless network settings" in wireless network properties. Now I have to check that box everytime I use a wireless connection. How do I make it automatic again? I'm using XP Pro, SP3. Thanks.

Click on start > Run, type in " services.msc ", scroll down to the bottom and find "Windows Wireless Zero config..." change the properties to automatic startup.

Use administrative tools to automatically start the Windows wireless config utility. Also if you have any other wireless utility running on start up you should disable this through msconfig utility. Good Luck.
