How do I reinstall my nic card ?

I am using 4550 and I was facing difficulties installing Earthlink`s software. They suggested that I reinstall my nic card, but how do I do that ?

Go to the Device Manager (My Computer>Right Click>Properties).  At the Hardware Tab you will see the Device Manager.  Open it and go to Network Adapters.  Right Clikc the Adpater and go to unistall.  Reboot and reinstall the driver.  I would suggest you have the driver in a convenient place to find...say..C:\drivers\Network  This makes it much easier to find when you reinstall at bootup.
