Hi HEOCON1T5,

This is apparently a know problem with this card, try the following

1) press win+R, and type devmgmt.msc

2) Expand Network Adapters

3) right click>properties on Intel ( R ) Dual Band Wireless-N 7260

4) Go to Driver tab, and see the provider.

5) if its Intel then click on Uninstall and make sure you put a check mark to delete the driver software, once back done, hit F5 on the same window to re-detect the card and repeat these steps until you see 'Microsoft' as the service provider.

This card has a driver related with regards to windows 8, Intel has released new drivers to fix this, but the new drivers don't seem to help.

Let me know if the above does work for you.
