Installed MSN 9 - Now NOTHING works right.

Someone from Dell ...  PLEASE HELP.

How can I get this out of my computer (MSN 9 Dial UP installed from CD) and get back the simple connection and e-mail program I had - MSN Explorer connected to DellNet by msn  ??   It used MSN Explorer and IE 6.xx.  (Dimension 8200, just over 2 yrs. old, Windows XP Home, configured to use the DellNet by MSN Hotmail for e-mail - the nice simple screen - NOT the Outlook Exp. or the MSN Hotmail split screens with all the garbage.)

I'm not even sure how I finally got on-line and to the forum to ask questions !!  I don't even know if I can receive replys....  I absolutely HATE MSN 9.  To be frank, I'm almost in tears.

I've tried System Restore - several times.  It did not work.  MSN 9 apparently deleted something that can't be restored.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

MSN Explorer should not be absolutely required in order to access Hotmail. If you require additional assistance with setting up Dellnet/MSN again on your system, you may contact Dellnet/MSN support directly via this page of links or by phone at 877-DELLNET (877-335-5638).

DELL-Cody:

Thanks.  Sorry it's taken so long to send Thanks, but it took awhile to find out what had to be done to get back to here !!  A nice person at MS helped me get back MSN Explorer - now 7.xx as she said 6.xx was too old.  Most things are back to "normal".  Now have back e-mail addresses, favorites, the simple e-mail screen, archived mail, etc., etc..  One thing is strange tho', I now have to sign in with Explorer, minimize that and then click Internet Explorer to get to DellNet !!  I guess that's a small price to pay, huh ?

Thanks again.
