Intel Centrino Advanced N 6200 AGN

Anyone else having problems with this adapter. I am constantly having to run the troubleshooter in windows 7 to reset the adapter. I have four computers here and this is the only one that has a problem. Using the Studio 1749. I did upgrade the drivers for the adapter.

Exact same problem with a Studio 1569 that has the same network adapter - no solution yet.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and was having problems with the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2 causing the processor to spike. These are related to My WiFi Technology and the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN adapter

I went to...

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19514&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%2C%2064-bit*&DownloadType=Software%20Applications

Downloaded the ICS_s64.exe

Make a system restore point.

I enabled the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2

I went to start, control panel, programs and features. I uninstall Inter ProSet Wireless and I also think I uninstall the Intel Wireless Display.

Restarted the computer.

Went to start, control panel, device manager, network. I noticed that the 6200 was still there. I right clicked on it, then left clicked uninstall. It asks you if you want to remove and associated software with it. I clicked yes. When it was done, I restarted the computer.

I then double clicked on ICS_s64.exe, choose custon to make sure everything was going to be installed. I then installed and restarted one last time. I then connected and everything seems to be working fine, no processor spikes and I even have the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter and Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #3(now #3) enabled.
