I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop (running Windows XP
Professional 5.1.2600 SP3) with Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG
network card. I attempted to download the latest driver for my network
card from the Dell Support website and downloaded and installed
R155386.exe. The website documentation says version 11.1.0.0 dated
5/3/2007. After installation, my Device Manager displays driver version
9.0.4.33 dated 2/8/2007. Can anyone explain the apparent discrepancy?
