PCMCIA wireless - can you connect it to internal antenna?
I know this is probably a stupid question, but is it possible to connect a pcmcia wireless card to the built in antenna on a Latitude C600?
I have an SMC 2835W wireless G card and I was hoping there would be a way to increase it's range by possibly connecting the internal antenna to the pcmcia card.
If it is not possible to connect the antenna, what other things can be done to extend the range of the antenna?
I've got a D-Link wireless g router, and I'm going through about 4-5 walls (about 30-40ft) and I only get a connection at 6-8Mbps...
any suggestions?

Long answer: First, your card does not appear to have any external connector that would allow you to attach an external antennae. Second, it looks like the card only has a total output power of 33mW, common among most cards, but not the maximum that other cards can do (Cisco 350 cards do 100mW, I used to work with these card pretty heavily in the past).
Your possible solution is to get a more powerful card, get a booster for the router if D-Link makes one, or move the router in a closer location to where you want the coverage.
