IP.   is the number give to you the network,  normaly is set up for the service provider  (company you get the service or any web conetion  like intranet wherever) you need to b more especific about your problem

If I use Realtek then i can change the value of network address in local area connection/property/configure/advanced/network address (12 letters)
this value i check again and see that it is considered as physical address.
however, for my new dell computer using broadcom, follow the same way above i can not see network address to change.
I really apprreaciate any suggestion in this group about this stuff
