I believe it is only available in the WRT54GC. Most home users do not need this much security. Since it is dynamic it also uses more of your computer resources (Slows computer down). This level of security is mostly for large enterprises (Dept of Defense, FBI etc.) Using the 5 steps to secure a home network listed at the Linksys site is usually sufficient for home users.
this didnt really answer the question and i have the same one. does the dell 1350 wlan card support WPA2 or not? the answer above advises that it is available in a linksys router but doesnt say for sure about the wireless card. i have the latest wireless driver installed on my inspiron 1100 and the config options for wireless networks does not list WPA2. it fails to connect to a WPA2 configured network if WPA is selected.
also, i disagree that WPA2 (not WAP2) is overkill for home use. common advice like "dont broadcast ssid" or "use mac filters" are nothing more than a brief inconvenience to any good amateur hacker let alone a serious criminal looking to hack into your quicken account. i advise using WPA2 whenever possible and have a long numeric key generated with a tool.
