What do I need to get my Inspiron 5100 setup for wireless network
I need to set up 2 computers in home so that both computers can use the internet. I have a cable connection / modem for the internet. I was advised of setting up a wireless router - but that I need some type of pc card to allow my computer to be wireless. I need help in knowing more about how to do this. THANK you for any suggestions.

The 5100 has a door on the bottom of the computer that covers the MiniPCI slot and antenna connection. Thus, if you want an internal wireless adapter, you would need something like the Dell 1370 MiniPCI wireless adapter. Alternatively, you get any brand of PC card wireless adapter, which would plug into the PC card slot on the side of your 5100, or, you get a USB wireless adapter that would plug into one of your available USB ports on the back of your computer.
