Wireless 1450 Dual Band WLAN mini-PCI Card: MAC filtering option
I have D600 and Verizon DSL wirless network was working with Westel Versalink access point for more than a year. Yesterday, I re-installed XP with SP2 and loaded all the drivers as per instructions. Interestingly, wireless stopped working. It can see SSID but the inerface shows "not connected". I use MAC filtering rather than WAP. All my other computers on the wireless network are working.
Later, I configured my access point to WAP. I downloaded the latest BIOS (A16) and 1450 drivers (R115321). It did not work. I uninstalled the wireless and cleaned registry. I re-installed R115321 drivers. I see that WAP started working.
However, MAC filtering is not working. All my fiends use MAC filtering so that whenever we get together we don't have to change WAP keys.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
SP
