XPS 8930, Networking woes, fixed

Got a barrage of updates from Microsoft and the Dell 8930 and my Microsoft Surface would no longer play nice together networking. I researched this issue quite a bit and talked to premium support a couple of times and they were unable to fix it. I talked to a networking guy I work with and he suggested that I uninstall/reinstall Client for Microsoft Networks on both machines. I tried it just to have something to do and surprisingly enough it fixed the issue. Just passing this along to save anyone else that has this issue a lot of heartache and anxiety. You also have to pay close attention to the permissions under the advanced sharing tab after one of the updates as they were changed significantly. I hope this helps someone avoid what I was dealing with.
