XPS Gen 2 with IPW2200 in Fedora Core 5
Hi everyone,
I've been having issues getting my wireless card to work under Fedora Core 5. I've trolled through a lot of posts and websites and ultimately found this site:
http://www.ces.clemson.edu/linux/fc2-ipw2200.shtml
which seems to have almost worked. The card now shows as wireless in the networking manager, but checking the status of it indicates "radio off," and despite a number of methods I've tried by both shell commands and using Fn-F2, I can't turn the darn card on.
Absolutely any input would be great, even if it's just to tell me where might be a better place to post this problem.
Thanks a ton!
