XPS M1330 Fast Ethernet Windows Vista -- HELP --
Hi all,
I am new on these forums and i need help.
Problem:
I have a problem with my Network adapter Broadcom NetLink (TM) Fast Ethernet, this device status is the following:
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."
I tried to check for solutions and the description is:
"Description:
Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code is 31."
There is no problem with my router, what i did was to update the driver and nothing. I uninstalled the driver and reinstall it and the same proble, the driver has a question yellow mark. when I connect the laptop with a network cable with a RJ-45 connector to the network adapter the lights showing connectivity are off.
I am able to connect to the internet with my WLAN but I need to use the cable.
Please help!!!!!
help will be appreciated
Thank you so much!!

You can get the latest Dell release of the drive here. There is also a diagnostic program for checking the network card for problems. If reloading the driver doesn't fix it, I'd recommend running the diags to see what it can find.
