To help troubleshoot this problem, while connected by ethernet to the router, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

Are you sure the line that says "DNCP enabled: no" isn't really DHCP enabled ? If so then this is your problem as you have a static IP address that is not recognized by your router. You need to Open Network Connections right click on your wireless network connection and select Properties from the drop down menu. Find the listing for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) select it and click on the Properties button. Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and a check mark next to "Obtain DNS server address automatically" How did your network adapter get set with a static IP address?
Yep, definitely DHCP...sorry. We changed settings as you said. Now the pc says "limited or no connectivity" and when we tried to repair it, it states 'unable to renew IP address.
