correct mini wireless card for dell OptiPlex 980 and dell dimension 9200

I have purchased two of these cards, 1520 and 1505. neither one of them fits in either computer, they are too long for the slot.  what is the proper card to use?

now I know that the cards fit into a device known as the T186D, a module that plugs into the motherboard and the mini wireless cards goes in the module and an antenna wire with a plug connects to the back of the computer; further, you can add a dell antenna that plugs into the antenna wire.

OK, does the T186D module fit into a dell OptiPlex 980?  The T186D is associated with the OptiPlex 960, but will it work in the 980?
