wireless network with Windows 2000

Question

I have a B130 Inspirion Laptop with a wireless card. My Dell Desktop is connected via ethernet to my wireless modem. I can access the internet with both machines. I want to be able to share files, and share the dedicated printer on the desktop. Would appreciate any and all help.   Thanks

Oh, and the laptop has XP Home Edition, Desktop is Win 2K.
