Assigning IP address on 5324

Question

Hi,   Im trying to assign an IP Address on my powerconnect 5324 so that I can manage the device from a browser. Here is what I am doing & the result:   console(config)# console(config)# interface vlan 1 console(config-if)# ip address 192.168.1.32 % missing mandatory parameter console(config-if)# ip address 192.168.1.32/32 % bad parameter value console(config-if)# exit console(config)# exit console# show ip interface   Gateway IP Address      Type       Activity status ----------------------- -------- -----------------------       IP Address                 I/F             Type ----------------------- ---------------------- --------- console#   How should I properly specify the IP address I would like to assign? you need to add the subnet to the ip address command. so it should be something like:   console(config-if)# ip address 192.168.1.32 255.255.255.0   or such like. Simon
