Can't connect to PowerConnect 3448 using the web interface

Hi !

I can't connect to my switch by using the web Interface nor a telnet session.

I got the following error

Access was denied due to one of the following reasons:

1) There are too many users logged in

   or

2) The specified user name and/or password is incorrect

   or

3) The specified user has not been granted web administration privileges

I confirm that the username/password is good and no change has been made on the credential used.

However, i can  use the console port and manage the switch.

When I do a show users I see 6 active http users.

Is there a way to disconnect them?

I try to disable the http ip server feature and put it back on but without no result.

Dell tech told me to reset the switch but I just want to be sure that there is no other workaround possible.

Thanks.

This might seem basic, but have you enabled web and telnet access...

console.enable

console#configure

console(config)# username xxxxxx password xxxxxx level 15

Assuming you have - given you can see active mgt sessions - then the only solution is to reboot the switch

Yes, telnet and web access are enable.

I guess that I have no choice and reboot the switch.
