Create VLAN on Powerconnect 2848

Question

I have  a Powerconnect 2848 and i want to create vlans. So i'm starting as simple as possible: I have set port1 on default PVID 1 and port 2 on PVID 2 In VLAN membership: VLAN ID 1                      VLAN ID 2 1      2                              1         2 U     B                              T         U I don't have communication between computers on port 1 & 2. What i'm doing wrong? Do i have to enter VLANID on network card on the computers? Thanks in advance

I see. I thought that if i create vlan in the same subnet (just for testing) the computers will have communication. Thanks!
