Dell 2161DS KVM over IP Switch - Firmware needed? Error:Video subsystem has failed
I need help finding the most recent firmware for the 2161DS switch?
I have owned this switch for over a year and find the lack of documentation on this model surprising. it seems you can for some firmware updates and the remote console software scattered on a few dell support pages however there is not a page for the 2161DS... nor is there any support online or downloads. also the firmware pages that do exist, i do not know if they are the most current or not??
Also I'm now incurring the following error when trying to connect to any computer via the RCS Software:
Unable to connect to the Remote Console Switch. Reason: The video subsystem has failed.
Is there any other models that work with the dell remote console software other than the newer 2161DS-2 which is much more expensive

It looks like I am at version A00-00 2_0_2
I was wondering if i need to install the firmware patchs one after another for them to work and avoid issues?

I also have a 2161DS legacy. The most recent firmware that I could find was 3.1.0.0 and is available at www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails
Then I installed version 4 of RCS located www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails
When I manually assigned an IP and told it to find it, it didn't work. I then factory reset the switch, and ran the wizard and told it I didn't know the IP address, and it found and configured it properly.

I updated the version to 3.1.0 and simply opens with the video drizzling. I can not go back to the version. Could I make firmware available here within 3.x so I can test? I have a legacy 2161DS. Before upgrading worked fine, I thought of upgrading to try to fix Delay mainly.
