How to increase the https and ssh timeout on a Dell X1052 switch

Hi,

We've recently acquired a couple of Dell X1052 switches and I am looking to configure the ssh timeout.  I've seen other posts mention setting the exec-timeout, but there is no mention of how to set it in the

Dell™ Networking™ X1000
and X4000 Series Switches
User Guide

I've entered the enable and config commands, but don't see any options for ssh, http or https to set the timeout value.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi, we have X1052 switches installed and we have problems with disconnecting from our application after approx 10 minutes of inactivity.

I found in

show ip https this line

Interactive secure server timeout: 10 minutes, 0 seconds.

but in config ip https is not possible change this, only work with 2 certificates

we have problem, because after 10 minutes inactivity on our main software, which working on https, it disconnect us from our application.

Is here any possibility add some exception for our sites ?

I too am having this issue.

I have an X1008p over a slow cellular connection.

I wish to update it's firmware, but the https interface times out before the upload can finish.

Please consider this enhancement for future firmware updates.
