Internal Mac Transmit Errors
Hello
I have a 3324 Switch. With this Switch i have smal Problems. On one Port i have connect a PowerEdge 2600 Server with Windwos SBS 2003. On this Server i have install the Virtual Server 2005 eval. from MS. The Problem is now, thats i loosing my conection from time to time. Wenn i start a VM und i want to load a SW from the physical Server(on this running the Virtual Server). Im loosing the conection for 10sec to 1minut. Wenn i look on the Switch, i see thats the Internal Mac Transmit Errors get up on this Port. Actual is 1797 Errors.
Can you help my?

If you determine that some ports that are "flapping", this is usually caused by physical layer problems. Newer network devices are more sensitive to sub-standard cabling issues. Try swapping with pre-fabricated store-bought cables. If the problem persists, try swapping ports, NICs, etc.
