New to Dell Switches (N3048P)

I am new to Dell switches and almost all in the company I just started working for are Dell 3048 or 3024.

My situation is I am the only network administrator here with several hundred employees and the IT was previously outsourced without documentation. So after digging around I found the OpenManage web login for the switches. Currently, we have a stack of three just for the corporate office with 6 vlans setup for users, phones, wireless, etc. We are currently expanding and need to add 10 data/phone ports on one empty floor. What I am trying to figure out from looking at the stack view is

#1. what are the standard uplink ports connecting the switches

and

#2. I am not as familiar with fiber connections so what are the SFP+ ports for?

Thanks Daniel. I've always used Cisco so figuring out what the capabilities are in a short period of time is interesting. I have been reading the 1400 page manual but some things need clarification for me...uplink port to upstream switches...Is there one on the N3048P? Stacking would be easiest if I could just do cable drops from the server room patch panel to the open office space beneath but that may not be possible. It looks like I need to put the switch in the open office space and run a cable between floors.
