Power load

hi there,

I'm trying to spec a UPS and am confused about the potential load from a N2048P with an MPS1000.

From the spec sheet I can see

  • the N2048P has a max wattage of 1738.
  • The MPS1000 has a wattage of 1000

Does that mean that combined they have a wattage of 2738?

I suspect that the the MPS just enables the N2048P to reach its max wattage of 1738.

Can someone please clarify?

Hi,

The internal power supply is a 1000w so that plus the MPS should be 2000, the load rating is 80% which brings it to 1800. So you are correct, the 1738 is the combined power.
