PowerConnect 2708 - cannot bring up web admin page (192.168.2.1)
PowerConnect 2708 - cannot bring up web admin page using default IP. I just hooked it up and cannot understand why. I am running windows server 2003. I am not an Network Admin so this is pretty new to me. Please help. I know the 192.168.2.1 is not in the IP range of my main DHCP range, but I would not thing that would make a difference?

No. The only thing it seems you want to do, is gain temporary access to the switch to change the ip address to an ip that your server can see, so I believe you should be able to do it if you simply change your mask on your server's tcp/ip settings.
