PowerConnect 2724 Will not reset
I have a PowerConnect 2724 that will not reset. I have followed several suggested routes to reset the switch back to default and it works for the IP but not for the admin password. I can see it on the 192.168.2.1 address which is different than what it was before. However, when I try to enter the default password, it goes back to a blank screen.
Does anyone have any idea what I should try next?

I am by no means an expert on the subject, but you might want to try connecting to the switch via the console (serial) port and using a terminal session to reset the router defaults. It seems that there are some things that are far more accessible from the console, vs the web gui, especially things like initial configurations, including passwords.

Hey Scott,
I appreciate the suggestion but this model doesn not have a serial port. It is strictly GUI-based.
