Powerconnect 5424 cannot save configuration (from web interface)

Hi,

I got a brand new Powerconnect 5424 switch and  programmed it with the web interface: when I press "apply" in the web interface, the changes are stored into the switch.

But if I turn off and then back on the switch, all my settings are lost!

Because I know a little of cisco IOS, I made the changes again in the web interface, then connected via telnet and issued a "copy running-config startup-config", so the configuration in written permamently.

Now I wonder if:

-this device is cisco IOS compatible
-there is a way to issue the equivalent of  "copy running-config startup-config" from the web interface
