Procedure to installing RPS-600/700 for PowerConnect 5224/5424
Hi All,
I bought one unit of RPS-600 and RPS-700 for power redundancy for one unit of PowerConnect 5224 and 5424 respectively.
Two questions/doubts came to my mind and I hope some experts here could clarify:
1. What is the step-by-step procedure of connecting rps-600/700 (new) to PowerConnect 5524/5424 (live system) - e.g. power up rps-600 first, then rps cable on rps-600 then rps cable on 5524 etc?
2. With the step defined above, is there any downtime?

Thanks! I managed to find spare said switches in my office and made a test.
working fine with no downtime.
