Hi Lee,
You should not need to reboot to remove the ip and route. Those commands are added the running config right away. Changing the services that are running requires a reboot because it doesn’t start the services on startup.

Hey Josh, thanks for the reply. This saved me a thousands of miles trip to the colo!
