Opening e-mail with a pps attachment

Question

I receive e-mails from folks which have pps attachments which I cannot open.

When I try I get an error message that tells me it cannot find a suitable Graphics Importer. I use Outlook Express.

I have tried to find one through a Google Search but it keeps taking me in so many different directions that I cannot find an answer.

Is there anyone out there who has had this experience or knows of a simple solution?

I did the download then went to my e-mail and tried to open it by clicking on it as I used to do before my problem

Nothing happened and I got the same error message that it cannot find a sujitable graphics importer.

If this was supposed to resolve my problem I must be doing something wrong.

You can download a free power point viewer off the web....I save the pps files to my desk top that people email me and they open from there. Probably is some way to create an association in my email to use it but I haven't figured out how to do it but at least that way I can view the pps files.
