bcmwltry.exe - Ordinal Not Found
I tried installing a driver onto my Inspiron 1200 that did not work. In the process, the following boxed message appeared "The ordinal 344 could not be located in the dynamic link library COMCTL32.kll." I clicked on the "OK" button, the box disappeared, then came back up. I clicked on the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the box, it disappeared, then came back up. I installed the backup of my previous driver, restarted my computer and the box still appears. I ran a registry cleaner program, restarted my laptop and the box still appears. I cannot get rid of the box with the message indicated above. Any suggestions? Thanks, PNeely

bcmwltry.exe is the Broadcom wireless LAN. Have you tried reinstalling this driver?

Yes, I had backed up the original driver before trying to install the new one. After I started getting the message indicated above, I reinstalled my original driver thinking that would get rid of the "bcmwltry.exe - Ordinal Not Found" message, but it did not. It is still coming up each time I start my laptop. Any other suggestions? Anybody? PNeely.

Use the System Restore and restore the PC back to a date prior to installing the new driver, it may take care of the problem. System Restore won't delete any user data or e-mail and if it doesn't work there is an "undo" feature. System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.

Thanks. I have never run a System Restore, did not even know how to get to it. Everything got back to normal. Thanks again.
You may be able to help with my frustration trying to install the latest driver for my Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN PC Card for my Dell Inspiron 1200. The Dell web site indicates the driver I need is version 4.10.40.0 / 4.10.47.3, A09 with a Release Date of 10.20.06. After I downloaded the driver and installed it, under Device Manager I checked the properties of the Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN PC Card and it has the Driver Version as 4.10.40 and the Driver Date of 11.02.05. Why wouldn't the Release Date (10.20.06) match the Driver Date (11.02.05)?
Are you familiar with Uniblue's DriverScanner? When I run it, all my drivers are up to date except the Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN PC Card. It indicates the 4.10.40 version should be upgraded to version 4.102.15.61, which I cannot even find on the Dell web site. When I tell DriverScanner to install version 4.102.15.61, my wireless card will not operate at all. Have you had any experience with Uniblues' products - DriverScanner, RegistryBooster & SpeedUpMyPC?
