The method : "com.dell.plugin.Dell Management Plug-in" was applicable to appliance version 1.7 and below.

For versions after 2.0 and above, use the following steps :

1.  Enter http:// /mob .

2.  Select the content link.

3.  Select the ExtendManager link.

4.  Select the UnregisterExtendsion link.

5.  Enter the extension key to unregister : " com.dell.plugin.OpenManage_Integration_for_VMware_vCenter_WebClient " and click InvokeMethod

6.  Enter the extension key to unregister : " com.dell.plugin.OpenManage_Integration_for_VMware_vCenter " and click InvokeMethod

7. In the vSphere client, power off the plug-in appliance and delete it.

Thanks,

Vikram KV

I found out what I needed to do. I used the following procedure to remove the plugin and then was able to reregister.

Hi MikeTheAdmin,

To remove the appliance if the Admin Portal cannot be used to unregister the appliance:

1 Go to https:// /mob

2 Click Content

3 Click ExtensionManager.

4 Click UnregisterExtension

5 Enter the extension key to unregister "com.dell.plugin.Dell Management Plug-in", then click Invoke method

6 In the vSphere client, power off the plug-in appliance and delete it

As for your SSL certificate issue, have you read this forum thread:en.community.dell.com/.../19977065.aspx

Regards,
