Audio Equalizer

Hey guys, I had this issue on another pc that I was able to figure out, but this pc does not have the same Choices in the Audio area.  On my other Dell 660s there is a little a choice of Equalizer in the Sounds Settings, but cannot find this on many other pc's.  I just downloaded the official dell audio driver for this pc, but it did not help.  My speakers are kinda cheap Logitech brand and don't sound very well unless I apply the Equalizer and make a choice of What Type of Audio I want from them.  Works beautifully on my 660s, any idea's?

There are audio functions that are not enabled in the sound chips by vendors.  Even "consumer" PC's sometimes have audio functions disabled.  I have a Toshiba touch screen laptop (actually my wife's) and there is no Audio manager (like many Realtek's) and also "Stereo Mix" is disabled.

What model OptiPlex and what OS?

FWIW, OptiPlex PC's are part of Dell's "business" line.  Generally audio, or lack of options, is not an issue.

Whoops, sorry Fireberd

Dell Optiplex 380 Mini Tower, Windows 7 Pro-64bit

Still baffled at why I don't get the same choices as I do on my Dell Inspiron 660s.  They are both W7 Pro also.  Let me try to leave a pic of what I'm seeing on my 660s.  Those are my notes at the top.  Once you choose Equalizer, then there are other options, like "Jazz" that you can see at the bottom of my notes.  This is what I chose for my 660s.  There are several choices there, but for some reason I did not take a pic.Sounds Equalizer Notes.PNG

Completely different motherboards and audio hardware, and therefore different drivers.

But you knows what's weird ...

I Nuke-and-Paved an OptiPlex 9020 desktop the other day. Using the Windows-10 64bit from Microsoft.com Installer. Only loaded the drivers that Microsoft tossed me during and after install.

Not only did I NOT NEED any Dell drivers ... I didn't load any either. However, the Microsoft Audio Driver came with Waves MaxxAudio . I about fell out-my-chair.
