Audio and Video Not Syncing

Question

Just bought an Optiplex 5070. I have it connected via HDMI cable using DisplayPort adapter. Using separate speaker, not via the HDMI. Sound and video are not syncing. Don't know what to do to make it sync. Thanks.

You are using the HDMI. Desktops do not have speakers like laptops. Does your monitor have speakers or are you using a tv as a monitor? A tv receiver can have problems with audio syncing.
