BIOS not accessible - F12 no longer working
I have an aging Optiplex 7020 which I reimage periodically using Acronis.
Historically I always just use F12 on boot to access the boot menu and set it to boot from a USB.
Recently the boot up sequence appears to have changed (I assume an auto update?) and the F12 key doesn't trigger access to the boot menu it just ignores it.
Does anyone know how to fix this please? All help and suggestions very welcome. Thanks in advance to anyone who know how to fix this.

If you are using Win 10 and have "fast startup" enabled, it will bypass accessing BIOS or the F12 options. If this is the case, disable fast startup.

If bios is acting up try clear CMOs settings by reset CMOs jumper on motherboard and replace CMOs battery with a new one.

I have "fast startup" enabled in my Win10, but don't recall not being able to access BIOS or Boot Menu.
Hi @Ben765 Make sure not to wait for Dell logo or keyboard light when powering on to access Boot Menu or BIOS.

I found it is the wireless keyboard. Plug in a wired keyboard and try it, works for me
