For Dell Optiplex's, that's quite common for MT and DT models to have the same MB.

One of our Rockstars, possibly speedstep, stated that often Dell understates their PSU's.  That could explain why GT 1030's and GTX 1050 Ti's are working in the smaller models without upgrading PSU.  This would also include MT models that don't have 300w or higher PSU's.  (This pgh. does not state all possible GPU's.)  Speedstep has quite often recommended the GT 1030.  Though it recommends 300w PSU, it's only 30w.

What I haven't seen are complaints that the GT 1030 and GTX 1050 Ti didn't leave enough power for their system.  Besides the GTX 1050 Ti, the GTX 1650  also has a TDP of just 75w.  Another YouTube List  Yet it does appear as if 50w is max in the Tech Guide for 7010 models also.

On occasion, a YouTuber will post a video when a GPU they tried with a higher wattage didn't work in an Optiplex. The 120w GTX 1660 is one example of this.  PSU would need upgrading.

best gpu matching your cpu is gtx1050Ti. You need to get a low profile card to fit DT case (only MT case takes full height gpu).

Graphic card and processor will work great together

Intel Core i5-3340 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti(Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 0.21% of bottleneck.

recommended psu is 300W. stock psu of 250W is a little weak. If you want peak spec performance of gpu, upgrade psu (has to be small form to fit DT case).

RX570 works well too w i5-3340, but its recommended psu is 450W. In general AMD gpu are more power hungry than nvidia at similar spec.

Intel Core i5-3340 (Clock speed at 100%) with AMD Radeon RX 570 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 4.75% of bottleneck.

You can put the power supply outside the case. I don't know, but you may need adapters to convert standard power connectors to the weird dell proprietary motherboard.

Are you thinking of the SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 570 mini graphics card?  It got good review https://techguided.com/best-low-profile-video-cards/

for RX 570, you either have to install ATX psu outside case, or move to a minitower case. If you swap case you need to work out Dell proprietary front panel connector pinout on motherboard as well as other connectors. will be a lot of work.

and if i buy the MT 3010 Case and i swap my PC, Dell proprietary front panel work fine without too much work?

It is likely that MT and DT of 3010 use same front panel pinout.  In 3010 technical guide both MT and DT have 16 pin FP connector.  In that case transplant of DT board to MT case is straightforward.

i choice the 1050 ti but, i see in the guide book, the DT have a pci-E with a 50W Max, the gtx 1050ti requires a 75w PCI-E
what happen if i install in my DT ?

Optiplex 3010 SFF + GTX 1050 Ti + YouTube  SFF of course being smaller than DT.  The YouTuber doesn't get to the GPU until toward the end of the video.

the optiplex was not designed for gaming application. 50W max was for the Dell oem discrete video card 1GB AMD RADEON™ HD7570. p.27/38 https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex_3010_technical_guidebook.pdf

While Optiplex's weren't built for gaming, many make cheap or cheaper gaming PC's out of them; and many of those post videos on YouTube.  Only the USFF and micro can't take anything for GPU's.

While redxps630 answered that the 3010 DT can take a GTX 1050 Ti, here's further proof with similar DT models:  YouTube List

I want to make a correction. @Chuyito is correct that the technical guide mentions PCIe x16 max watt is 50 W for DT and SFF (75W for MT). P.16/38 https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex_3010_technical_guidebook.pdf

System stock psu is 265W (MT), 250W (DT), 240W (SFF).

what is strange is that 3010 MT and DT appear to use identical motherboard.

the difference in max x16 slot power draw could be a gross guideline based on system psu rating.

this could mean that PCIex16 slot in DT or SFF is not optimal to support a 75W TDP gpu without psu upgrade.

You're welcome and thanks for accepting my post as a solution.   Whatever you decide on, I'm sure you'll be happy with your system.   Just don't forget to go low profile.
