Dell OptiPlex 9010 power supply need replacement for using better graphic card
Hello Community Good Day To You
I have a Dell OptiPlex 9010 MT pc with stock power supply i need to change it to higher 400w or 600w power supply to be apple to install better graphic card can any one direct me to a type or brand of power supply that i can use and be compatible with Dell OptiPlex 9010 MT
i have an option in my area to buy 600w hp power supply is it ok to use hp power supply with my dell optiplex mt pc
the seller tell me that its ok to use it and that its compatible with my pc
so hope any one can advice

Yes 9010 mt psu can be upgraded to standard ATX form factor psu that has 24 pin ATX + 4 pin cpu power connectors. stock psu dimensions is 150mm x 86mm x 140mm. Replacement psu should be also 150 x 86 mm.

So then its ok to use hp brand power supply as long as its standard ATX , wont be any problem or difference in voltage or wattage what so ever , what i mean is that dell make power supply for dell pc and hp make power supply for hp pc you get my point so is it ok to use hp in my dell pc as long as its standard ATX right ? , sorry for insisting on hp brand i now there is a lot of power supply brands out there but there a 600w power supply in my area for a good price

The voltages and pinouts *SHOULD* be fine. It's really the connector to the system board you need to be concerned with. Make sure the one you're eyeballing and the one on your 9010MT's motherboard match (along with the physical space constraints referenced above).
