Dell Optiplex 5070 SFF, USB troubles with Sticks

maybe someone here can help me.
I've got here a new Optiplex 5070 SFF with Windows 10-64 and have some issues with USB sticks connected to it.
First one Samsung 64GB USB3.1 Stick couldn't barely be read, other computers can read it, so the stick is perfectly fine.
Then Kingston DT50 USB3.1 Stick, connection is being lost when writing data on it, tried 3 of the same model, all fail and have to be reconnected to be recognised again.And same as the Samsung USB stick before: other computers --> the sticks have no problems writing data.

I tried this on ALL USB ports on the 5070 SFF.
I am using newest drivers and newest BIOS.
Otherwise the computer works fine, but what is somehow strange is that the SupportAssistant tool writes that these devices, despite being USB 3.1 Gen1 devices and being connected to the correct port, are being reported as USB2.0 devices. I tried connecting a new Samsung 128GB USB stick, this one is OK on the Dell and being reported as USB3.1 Gen1 as it should.

Tech support was _very_ unfriendly and does NOT want to help me out.
I guess somebody from DELL needs to take care of this as it seems to me to be a firmware problem (Cypress UCM?)

You have both usb 3.1 and 2.0: 1 USB Type-C x 3.1 Gen 2 (front), and 4 x 2.0 (2 Type-A front - 1 front with PowerShare. See the specs-

upgrade the BIOS first. make sure it is newest one. F12 way is best. and most safe way to update BIOS.

New PC, sorry for you pain, weve all been there, ALL PCs made, all PCs , all computers are pain. (unless blessed) I'm the NG guy (i touch only the bad, no good) so know that All PCs are problematic,.

my guess 1 is SA is old, and not upgraded, did you do that first

the driver in the PC must be bad. here is what I do to fix that, (from best to dangerous (not really)

1: let MS do load the driver, with the internet connected. click on the port in device manager, click update driver.

if that fails, remove the driver , there , force a fresh MS PnP load of said driver.

fails again, dang.

2: ;used SA, fresh, version and do HOME page , get driver, and let it update the driver. (I don't like SA but sure)

3: get the driver from the chip maker, intel Q370 it is . this is one fine chip, (mine is q270 andlove mine)

the blue ports are SS< and some dells marked SS for super speed, 3.0 up. use those.

the Q370 has both usb2 and usb 3.1ports.

you have bad drivers i bet, only how that happened is not known, ?SA killed them? or MS updates? killed them or (as this is the mine field of autoupdate madness.)

are just plain bad new.(buggy) drive 2018 chip set so is very new drivers.

MT & SFF: 1x 3.1 Gen 2, 5 x 3.1, 2x 2.0 (Micro: 1x 3.1 Gen 2, 5x 3.1)

dell might help you directly and SURE your sticks are not bad, we both know that, (I have boxes full of them)

one stick i had failed, I had this nasty sandisk, window 8 only stick that is useless on w7. sent it back to them in 2014, got refund then) they admitted, bad IDEA this stick (i think UEFI only stick, IDK)

but 2015 to 2020 good, and all old sticks 2001 to 2013 are good. never had one bad. odd duck w8 sticks RUN.

IM SURE you , clicked the stick in the taskbar, each time and eject it, if not the data scrambles (or you kill dead the OS feature for write buffering the sticks) formatting can scramble. done wrong.

I have seen scramble sticks need lowlevel format tool to bring them back to life. if diskmanager cant touch it.
