Dell SupportAssist popping dialog asking for admin credentials
Hi:
I have numerous Optiplex desktops where Dell SupportAssist Vers. 3.3.3.13 recently starting popping a dialog box asking for admin credentials. The machines are added to an Active Directory domain and the users are not admins. How to stop this issue? Note that SupportAssist has been installed on these machines for years w/o this issue, which just started within the last few days.
Thank you!
Bob H.

Hi @JOcean:
Thanks for the input. Your referenced article has a solution that says:
"Thank you all for your feedback. SupportAssist hotfix 2.2.2.7 was released to address issue with UAC prompts in non-admin user sessions. Please update SupportAssist to latest version 2.2.2.7 to resolve this issue."
However, these users are running vers. 3.3.3.13, so it looks like the problem is back after previously being solved by Dell. I wonder if Dell is aware of this issue returning and if we can expect an updated vers. soon that fixes it again.
Thank you,
Bob H.

Hi @revelli moderator:
I think the problem referenced in https://www.dell.com/community/SupportAssist/SupportAssist-keeps-triggering-prompt-for-admin-credentials/td-p/6056767 is back.
Is Dell aware?
Thank you,
Bob H.

I agree, this is presenting itself again. Any acknowledgement from Dell?
