Optiplex 3050 automatically starts and stops when connected to power
Hi,
I've just started to setup an old Optiplex 3050 and noticed that it automatically start and then stops when/after being disconnected from AC for a while, even though the option to automatically restart after a power outage has been **turned off**.
As far as I understand, some Dells have this behaviour because it is a routine test and it cannot be disabled.
Does this apply to the Optiplex 3050 as well or is something wrong with the power unit?

nothing wrong. my dell XPS (one of them) does same thing. not sure it is a routine test. otoh most of my Dell desktops are constantly connected to power when shut down. so this behavior only occurs if I unplug power after shut down then reconnect power after some time.
