Optiplex 755 Tons of quick beeps when powered on
The desktop stops booting and hundreds of beeps happen. No beep code, Just hundreds of beeps... It happens during or before POST so it will be at the intel boot screen or at the DELL logo screen and start beeping

Disconnect all cables. This is a stuck key on the keyboard symptom.

Exactly. I also had that happen with a ps/2 keyboard connector that was loose.

whats connected to the PC now, we can see your PC rear of case. USB keyboard or wrong ALIEN PS2, keyboard. does it beep witn all use devices removed (call cables but power AC) removed?>
nor can we hear beep codes, (NO 755 case type told) at all. MT, DT, SFF, USFF (which one is it? mt it big own)
There are huge reasons for beep, even overheating does it beep after 1 hour cooled down
the RTC coin call batteries never last 13 years, on this 13year old PC, this be like step one on any PC over 5 to 7 years old battery life spec.
if the beep is not a code , most times this means gross catastrophic errors.. like batter death. for sure.
what does the power button LED lamp do, color and actions,?????
the front panel on the MT PC, has, 1,2,3,4 POST code LED errors, covered in the free manual, RTM?
page 210 covers the complex beep patterns.
try the long RESET yet step 1 to 4 , after battery cure?
